Changes to the 2009 National Electric Code
This seminar is code related and covers the first 3 chapters of the National Electric Code. All journeyman electricians will need at least this course to renew their license. Requirements have been added or changed in the latest edition. From new definitions in Article 100 to the new requirements for messenger cable in Article 396, over 90 changes and additions are presented and explained so all installations are up to date and will pass any inspection. Equipment room personnel door requirements, new areas requiring arc-fault circuit interrupters, changes in overcurrent protection for wire sizes smaller than 14 awg, new surge protective devices and definitions, and changes in raceway supports are just some of the new revisions that you should be aware of.
This seminar will be held on both Thursday, October 28th and Saturday, October 30th.
